The IPAF Static Boom (1b) machine is available as a road going vehicle, or certain models can be pedestrian driven but cannot be driven when elevated. It is setup on jacks, outriggers and stabilisers.

Can be driven into position from the platform or by remote control.

Please note an IAD machine such as the Mercedes Unimog is also a (1b) category.
